SVQ Level 2 Plant Construction
SVQ Level 2 Performing Engineering Opps.
This qualification provides candidates with a
qualification in plant and machinery operations. We provide the
means for you to either obtain your CPCS category Red card or complete
the SVQ in Plant and Construction to obtain your Blue card.
This introduces a general operator
to Health and Safety, Abrasive Wheels and a skill of their choice
in one of the many choices listed. Candidates can choose from welding,
cutting, machining, fabrication or pipe work.
SVQ Level 3 Welding
SVQ Level 3 Engineering Leadership
This qualification is aimed at the welding operator who would
like to gain a craftsman award in welding. This can be done at your
place of work and does not entail going to a training centre.
This award is aimed at foreman who have some hands on involvement
in the work being done. To gain this award you will be responsible
for getting work done and for directing the work of craftsmen.
SVQ Level 3 Management
SVQ Level 3 Technical Services
This award is aimed at supervisors and managers who may be involved
in recruitment, leading teams, taking part in meetings, planning
work, monitoring work or maintaining quality.
If you work in a stores environment or
you provide a service like moving and transferring materials or
you work in the services department, or you perform a quality control
role then this award may suit your needs and give you a qualification
in the supply of a technical service.
This award is aimed
at managers who lead and develop work in their business. They may
be responsible for leading change and for recruitment of staff or
they may be responsible for budgets and ordering of consumables
and materials.
